RABBI SHALOM GOLD, shlita, arrived in Israel in 1980 where he attended Yeshiva. In 1989, along with four other men, Rabbi Gold founded Yeshiva Bircas Hatorah. In 2006 he established Yeshiva Rabbi Akiva catering to the ‘mature and motivated’. The Rav’s approach to teaching Torah could be summed up by saying, it’s an advanced program for beginners.Gold developed a unique method of teaching Hebrew grammar which is available in book and CD format called “The DIKDUKBUK”.
Rabbi Gold received his smichot from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, shlita, and Rabbi Yehuda Deri, shlita, in conjunction with Rabbi Ovadia Yoseph, shlita.
