FROM THE RABBI

Shalom from Jerusalem,
Kaddish Jerusalem takes this opportunity to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your loved one.
No one can measure your sorrow over the loss of your loved one. We know there is no time-line for individual grief. Yet the Jewish tradition provides a framework for mourners to channel that grief into positive acts benefiting the departed. One of those primary acts is the mitzvah of Kaddish.
The Jewish mourning rituals help heal the pain of loss, while the recitation of the Kaddish prayer itself significantly affects the deceased. Since it is to their credit that you are engaging in this prayer, they are lifted higher as their soul continues on in the spiritual realm.
We created Kaddish Jerusalem to assist you with the mitzvah of Kaddish. Because we are based in Jerusalem and have access to the holiest locations in Israel, we ensure that your loved one’s Kaddish is recited at one of these sacred sites three times each day.
It has been a privilege to recite Kaddish, particularly at the Western Wall, for mourners who are not able to do that for themselves.
May you always cherish your dear one’s memory and may the Omnipresent comfort you among the mourners of Zion.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Shalom Gold
